Nightmare at 13324 viewsThe Marion Recreation Committee hosted a Nightmare at 13 Atlantis Drive Haunted House Tour on Saturday October 27th. The fund raiser was originally scheduled to run for two nights and to include Sunday but was cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy. Pinewood Derby324 viewsOn Saturday, March 2nd 2013, The Cubs Scout Pack 32 held a pinewood derby at the Community Hall of the Congregational Church in Marion. The results were 1st Lucas Marcolini, 2nd Brendan Hubbard, 3rd Nathaniel Bangs, and 4th Nate Robertson. All four move on to regional finals in New Bedford later this month. Trinidad Orphanage Mission324 viewsEighteen ORR students and one Tabor student, along with their fathers, spent their April vacation working at an orphanage on the island of Trinidad. The group provided labor, materials, and good spirits to help paint the sleeping areas for the 35 children who live at the Christ Child Convalescence Home. “It was a very eye-opening experience,” said Ben Mattson, who went with his father, Wayne. “The kids were very excited to have us visit.
