From Westport to Falmouth, cyclists rode either the 75-mile or 35-mile route to raise funds for the Buzzards Bay Coalition, bringing in nearly $90,000. Special Olympics Young Athletes234 viewsRoughly 120 Tabor Academy students volunteered on January 10 to assist with the school’s first session of the Special Olympics Young Athletes™ program held at Tabor. The program offers children ages 3-7 with intellectual and developmental disabilities opportunities to engage in physical activities vital to mental and physical growth. Rochester Memorial Day234 viewsRochester fared far better with its Memorial Day celebration than Marion and Mattapoisett did with theirs on rainy Monday. Sunday, May 29, was a picture perfect day for a parade.
