Tri-Town Relay for Life285 viewsHundreds of residents attended the Tri-Town Relay for Life last weekend, raising nearly $40,000 for the American Cancer Society. The students were able to piece together some of the skeleton of a Loggerhead that washed up in Mattapoisett two years ago. Tabor Academy’s Day of Service285 viewsTabor Academy’s Day of Service was a success, spanning much of the South Coast during ambitious volunteer projects. Scores of students participated in work at the Bog Jog, at the Sippican School in Marion and Alma Del Mar in New Bedford, and at the Dartmouth YMCA, where they picked 2,150 pounds of eggplant, tomatoes, squash, as well as sweet and hot peppers, amounting to upward of 9,000 servings for those in need.
