5th Annual 5K Turkey Trot329 viewsThere were 31 registered runners for this year’s 5th Annual 5K Turkey Trot for Marion Recreation on Sunday, November 22. The course takes runners from Tabor Academy down Front Street through the village and back again to Tabor. Local restaurants and cafés dole out servings of their specialty foods for ticket holders to the event hosted by the Mattapoisett Woman’s Club. The officers raised over $1,500 letting their facial hair grow out, a no-no for the rest of the year for the officers.
