Relay for Life225 viewsIt rained down hard the night of the 9th annual Relay for Life at Old Rochester Regional, soaking the ground, the tents, and the participants – but it didn’t stop anyone from coming out anyway to walk for a cure and honor those who have battled cancer. Thanksgiving Dinner225 viewsOld Rochester Regional Junior High School eighth grade students and staff volunteered over the weekend to present the 24th annual Thanksgiving dinner for Tri-Town senior citizens on Sunday, November 23. Chemistry of Tie Dye225 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum's last afterschool program of this school year featured "Chemistry of Tie Dye" with Chemist Jessica Robidoux and coordinated by Dr. William (Toby) Dills of UMass Dartmouth's Chemistry Department. The Museum wishes to thank Ms. Robidoux, Dr. Dills, and all the many volunteers who showed up to help with the program. Mattapoisett Firefighter’s Association225 viewsThe Mattapoisett Firefighter’s Association hosted a chowder competition on September 13 on the Mattapoisett Knights of Columbus grounds. Between 300 and 400 guests came to sample the chowder of 16 different teams, split into two categories: public safety and professional.
