The BBR, which takes place in Sippican Harbor, is the largest multi-class regatta in the country, with about 450 boats and over 1,100 sailors participating across 15 different classes. Butterfly Release293 viewsDebbie Thompson of Marion raised monarch butterflies from caterpillar to chrysalis with her preschool students and finally released them on September 26. This is the second year Thompson raised butterflies, tagged them, and released them into the wild with her students. “For the kids it’s such a magical thing,” said Thompson.
