Marion Town Party333 viewsChalk up another successful Marion Town Party as several hundred party-goers found good food and fun on the grounds of the Town House on 8/25. Children of all ages enjoyed inflatable games, climbing the rock wall, or jumping around to music. The annual party has its roots deep in the community and may have started as early at 1900. This year’s event featured live entertainment, a scavenger hunt, and lots of good food.

Marion Natural History Museum333 viewsTalented artist and wood carver James Babbit, Sr. made a wonderful dollhouse for his adult sister, Cynthia Babbit Bryden. Karilon Babbit Grainger inherited it from her aunt, and has now donated the dollhouse to the Marion Natural History Museum for all to enjoy. The fantastic structure is just perfect for the imaginative play of our visitors, children and adults alike. Working lights, beautiful furniture, and many minute details make this item a fun way to spend some time playing at the museum.
