The country fair committee held a tractor pull/swap fundraiser on April 29. Those who attended got an early taste of the sights, sounds, and smells of the Rochester Country Fair with dirt flying, engines blasting, and diesel smoke billowing up into the air. Rochester Council on Aging St. Patrick's Day Luncheon265 viewsThe folks at the Rochester Council on Aging never miss a holiday or a chance to gather together to celebrate. On Friday, March 14, the COA hosted an Irish luncheon, complete with, of course, corned beef and cabbage to mark the occasion. Irish or not, most donned their St. Paddy’s green and broke bread together with Selectman Naida Parker, who assisted in serving up lunch, along with COA Director Sharon Lally.
