The pouring rain didn’t stop Santa from spreading candy and holiday cheer to the crowd of exciting children. Tree Spree House Tour330 viewsThe Sippican Woman’s Club held their annual Tree Spree House Tour on Saturday, December 12, 2009. Visitors enjoyed Marion buildings festively decorated for the holiday season. There were 12 stops on the tour, including 5 private residences and several historical town buildings. Block Party!330 viewsIt was a little earlier than usual, but the annual Marion Block Party on August 28, 2010 went off without a hitch. Children enjoyed cotton candy, a bounce house and face-painting, while the grown-ups enjoyed conversation and good weather. Ready, Set, Go!329 viewsOn Sunday, March 21, 2010 The Marion Cub Scouts Pack 32 revived the annual soap-box derby after a three-year absence. Scouts raced carts down Holmes Street in Marion for a chance to help make their den the fastest in the pack.
