We took a close look at the insides of cranberries to discover what makes them float, counted seeds - which tell us how many times a plant was fertilized by a bee – and had a chance to see how far we could "bounce" a berry. Celebrating the 4th427 viewsMarion's annual fireworks display attracted several thousand people to the town's Silvershell Beach Park on Friday evening July, 3. The Marion town band entertained the crowd until dusk when the night's big show lit up the sky's above Sippican Harbor.
