Marion has held the event annually, under a variety of names, over the past three decades, encouraging residents to take pride in their community by clearing the roadways of trash and debris. Marion Natural History Museum474 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum's afterschool group enjoyed learning about minerals and fossils with geologist Jim Pierson. The group also compared various artifacts such as relative sizes of Megaladon teeth versus White Shark, and took a look at many examples of fossils such as fish, leaves, and the tiny tracks of a trilobite.
