The GBBC is a great citizen-science initiative to gauge how our bird species are doing, and all it takes is 15 minutes to count the number of species and how many of each, and submit your findings to Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) website: birdcount.org. After-school program participants included James Caswell, Sam Gordon, Fiona Lonergan, Alex Bessey, T.J. Stellato, Bennett Cantwell, Owen Powers, Angelina Cosgrove, Cedar Gregoire, Jacob Lawrence, Molly Kracke and Katelyn Luong. The demonstration was conducted by rockets instructor Mike Cronin.

Celebrating the 4th476 viewsMarion's annual fireworks display attracted several thousand people to the town's Silvershell Beach Park on Friday evening July, 3. The Marion town band entertained the crowd until dusk when the night's big show lit up the sky's above Sippican Harbor.
