Crocodile River Music5 viewsOn Saturday, May 17, as part of Art Week, the Marion Arts Center presented Crocodile River Music performing West African music and dance in Marion's Music Hall to an audience of about 70 people. A few children danced happily along with members of Crocodile River Music during several pieces. For the final piece of the event, almost everyone was up and dancing. The energy was terrific. We learned about what’s needed for lift-off and propulsion, as well as how to add the “recovery wadding” and parachute to ensure the rocket doesn’t get damaged.
