Soapbox Derby54 viewsMarion and Rochester Cub Scouts came together on November 6 for a soapbox derby on Holmes Street in Marion. The longtime fundraising event was not held in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic but made a roaring return on Saturday, as children raced their homemade go-carts and collected donations for the Murphy and Others, Living Interdependently for Future Endeavors, Inc. COA Art Exhibit53 viewsThe newest art exhibit at the Marion Council on Aging is both a sublime and exciting partnership between local schools and the COA. Works have been created by students from Sippican Elementary and Old Rochester Regional Junior and Senior high schools.
