Running with Hannah163 viewsHannah Strom ran from Island Wharf down Front Street to Silvershell Beach on Sunday morning, surrounded by her brother and friends. The accomplishment is a major step in the Marion native’s long road back from severe injuries sustained last January in a horrific crash while traveling in Florida with the Holy Cross rowing team. The festival featured live music and words presented by area and national contributors, along with video tributes and a fire show. Marion Village Stroll163 viewsCars lined several Marion streets as residents gathered for the town’s Christmas Stroll on December 12. Front Street and connecting village roads were partially closed for the event, as families enjoyed refreshments provided by area merchants at their doorsteps and along the roads. Clydesdale horses escorted Santa Claus and passengers, while the Sippican Elementary School Band played, Tabor Academy student singer Wesley Lai of Hong Kong sang, and a bike rider juggled bowling pins.
