The pop-up sale at the clubhouse, 152 Front Street, is held on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the proceeds funding Marion student scholarships. The Illuminate to Educate fundraiser replaces the Holiday House Tour that was cancelled due to COVID-19. The Marion community is encouraged to light up our streets in celebration of Independence Day Holiday.

Marion Holiday House259 viewsThe 33rd annual Marion Holiday House Tour was enjoyed by many on December 9. The annual fundraiser began at the Handy Tavern, the headquarters of the Sippican Woman's Club, which hosted the event. The tavern was built in 1812 and has been owned by the club for many decades. Club historian Jeanine Bruen shared that the club is celebrating its 100th year and for nearly that long has been taking care of this structure in the heart of Marion village. The Heart of Christmas258 viewsMarion’s First Congregational Church delivered the season’s perfection with Cassandra Morgan directing ‘The Heart of Christmas’ cantata. This annual event is sugar on the plums for anyone who appreciates live music. The combined voices and instruments of over 60 performers filled the church with pitch perfect music telling the story of Jesus’ birth. Sippican Schooner 5k and Mini Fun Run 258 views Sunday, May 4 was a perfect day for a fun run through Marion, and about 200 people turned out to participate in VASE’s second annual Sippican Schooner 5k and Mini Fun Run to raise money for educational programs at Sippican Elementary School.
