Boots284 viewsMarion resident ‘Boots’ the cat, AKA ‘Mr. Boots’ is a familiar sight to neighbors of Little Neck Village in Marion when he takes his owner Suzanne Peterson out for a walk around his little world several times a day with his little cat collar and leash. Folks from the Fairhaven Village Militia and Wareham Militia Group in conjunction with Marion Recreation and the Marion Cultural Council took spectators back in time to Colonial Massachusetts during a weekend-long encampment at the beach. Participants in olde-tyme apparel demonstrated what life was like in the 1770s during the Revolutionary War through demonstrations of drilling, cooking, and flintlock musket use. Photos by Jean
