Taber Fall Lapsit Program253 viewsThe Fall Lapsit Program for babies kicked off on October 7 at the Taber Library in Marion. Babies and their caregivers enjoy 20 minutes of stories and 20 minutes of social time. Children’s Librarian Rosemary Gray delighted five happy babies with some peekaboo, short stories such as Where is Baby’ Belly Button, and songs like the Itsy Bitsy Spider. Harvest Family Dance253 viewsFamilies danced the night away the evening of November 15 during the Harvest Family Dance hosted by the Southcoast Children’s Chorus. Marion Natural History Museum253 viewsOn Wednesday, Dec. 10th, the Marion Natural History Museum afterschool group enjoyed working on crafts from nature and recycled materials. Thank you to all the volunteers who made this such a happy and fun-filled event. Many, many thanks to Grace Moran for her kind donation of frames complete with glass, which the students used to create their own masterpieces for gift-giving. Blue and Gold Banquet253 viewsIn a ceremony held at the Cub Scouts annual Blue and Gold Banquet on March 28, over 40 members of Pack 32 moved up in rank and nine Senior Webelos where awarded the Arrow of Light Award. The Arrow of Light is the highest award received in Cub Scouts and an award that moves up with the recipient to Boy Scouts.
