Marion Natural History Museum273 viewsLast week the Marion Natural History Museum’s afterschool program welcomed the Cape Cod Cranberry Grower’s educator Dawn Allen. Students learned how to tell a ripe cranberry from a spoiled one and who some of the animals are that are found on a bog. They were able to try on the same types of waders the Ocean Spray guys wear on the tv commercials. The Museum’s next program is Nature Crafts, on December 12th.

The Heart of Christmas273 viewsMarion’s First Congregational Church delivered the season’s perfection with Cassandra Morgan directing ‘The Heart of Christmas’ cantata. This annual event is sugar on the plums for anyone who appreciates live music. The combined voices and instruments of over 60 performers filled the church with pitch perfect music telling the story of Jesus’ birth.
