Do-Si-Do in Marion579 viewsOn Sunday, September 14, the first of what is hoped to be an annual series of Marion Square Dances was held inside the Marion Community Center. Although initially slated to take place in the parking lot adjacent to the Marion General Store, the weekend’s rainy weather forced the event indoors. Thirty-six artists and artisans offer a variety of jewelry, ceramics, clothing, cards, glass, ornaments, photography, paintings, puppets, ribbons, birds, scrimshaw, furniture and fiber. Tricia showed us some of her commissioned art pieces, as well as examples of nature journaling from various artists.
