Occasion Singers329 viewsLeft: The Marion Art Center celebrated Valentines Day a few days early as they welcomed the Occasion Singers for a sold out performance during the center’s Cabaret Night of Love Songs on Saturday evening, February 11. The capacity crowd was treated to a night of jazz, pop, older standards and love songs from the Tri-Town based vocal group. Nightmare at 13329 viewsThe Marion Recreation Committee hosted a Nightmare at 13 Atlantis Drive Haunted House Tour on Saturday October 27th. The fund raiser was originally scheduled to run for two nights and to include Sunday but was cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy. Marion Art Center Show329 viewsThe Marion Art Center unveiled its new show in a special opening reception at the gallery on Friday, January 11. The 2013 Winter Members Exhibition features over 60 works by about 30 local artists, some well-known and some new to the local art scene. This is the first of two bi-annual shows that showcase work by members of MAC, from oil paintings to multi-media. Check out some of the great art work being created by Tri-Town artists. The students were able to piece together some of the skeleton of a Loggerhead that washed up in Mattapoisett two years ago.
