Museum Director, Elizabeth Leidhold, helped the kids to explore the physical structure of a bog, and how to tell a healthy berry from a rotten one. The students then made “mini-bogs” to take home. Marion Master Plan271 viewsMarion took its first step toward developing a new Marion Master Plan on September 27 by having residents and town officials alike gather to review past master plans and split into focus groups to devise a new vision for Marion. Many agreed that the current Master Plan is still relevant, with the majority concerned mostly with preserving the historic character of the town.
