Classic Film Fridays369 viewsFriday, February 3, will mark the premiere of the Sippican Historical Society’s newest offering: Classic Film Fridays. One Friday each month, the Society will present a classic film and offer a discussion on its historical context or significance. Tonight’s feature film will be 'The African Queen'. The event will be held at the Marion Music Hall on Front Street, and will be offered free of charge to the public. Each film will begin at 7:00 pm, and refreshments will be available.

Marion Town Party369 viewsChalk up another successful Marion Town Party as several hundred party-goers found good food and fun on the grounds of the Town House on 8/25. Children of all ages enjoyed inflatable games, climbing the rock wall, or jumping around to music. The annual party has its roots deep in the community and may have started as early at 1900. This year’s event featured live entertainment, a scavenger hunt, and lots of good food.
