Salty Soirée35 viewsSince 2007, the Mattapoisett Land Trust has invited the community to a soirée at the site of Salty the Seahorse. The Halloween themed party on October 19 featured musical performances by Jeff and Lisa Dunn, storytelling by the campfire with Karen Chace, and make-your-own s’mores. Fall Free Family Fun Festival34 viewsThe sixth annual Lions Club Fall Free Family Fun Festival was held on October 22 in Shipyard Park. Hundreds of children enjoyed face painting, fortune tellers, hayrides and games with a Halloween theme. King Lion Kimberly Ray said the event is an opportunity for people of all economic backgrounds to enjoy a family day together for free.
