Whale Bark Wanderer36 viewsMattapoisett Museum Curator Connor Gaudet and volunteer Bob Clifford unpack the custom model of the Whale Bark Wanderer 1878 recreated by artist George Lowery from scratch and donated to the museum. The model arrived on Tuesday afternoon from Arizona in a crate weighing a total of 181 pounds. Bright blue skies graced the heavens while here on earth, children cavorted across Shipyard Park with seasonal tunes playing in the background like “Purple People Eater”.
