Fall Free Family Fun Festival173 viewsThe sixth annual Lions Club Fall Free Family Fun Festival was held on October 22 in Shipyard Park. Hundreds of children enjoyed face painting, fortune tellers, hayrides and games with a Halloween theme. King Lion Kimberly Ray said the event is an opportunity for people of all economic backgrounds to enjoy a family day together for free. On September 2, an exhibit of recycled/upcycled works of art was on display at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library. We were amazed at the variety of materials and types of art that were created from small shining towers to 3-D book sculptures to wearable art and more.
