Melody Pacheco150 viewsOn March 17 family, friends, and co-workers came out in force to beep and wave at retiring Mattapoisett Town Hall employee Melody Pacheco, who ended her 35-year career after serving in a variety of capacities, including assistant to the town administrator, for over a decade. Dog Walk Fundraiser150 viewsFreemin Bauer with his five-year-old sibling bulldogs Mia and Louie during Saturday’s dog walk fundraiser held at Center School in Mattapoisett. Six years ago, Bauer was an eagle scout who donated his first dog-walking fundraising collection to an animal shelter in Fairhaven. Approximately 20 dogs were on hand for the August 28 event, a small step in a larger effort to finance a dog park in town. According to Mattapoisett Select Board member Jodi Bauer
