Annual Halloween Costume Contest 322 viewsThe Mattapoisett Police Department’s Annual Halloween Costume Contest had spectators spinning in circles as the most creative than ever costumes paraded around the Center School gymnasium Thursday night. Christmas Day Plunge322 viewsAt 94, Bob Humphrey was the elder statesman participating in the Christmas Day plunge held at Mattapoisett Town Beach, which including 47 swimmers and raised $2,595 in donations for the benefit of Helping Hands & Hooves. The students participated in a variety of different exercises using remote controlled helicopters in a hands-on approach to learn valuable lessons in math and science.
