Chili Cook-off341 viewsThe MattMen of Mattapoisett Congregational Church came together Sunday night, January 25th ,to see who amongst them cooks up the best man-made chili. Tasting was free to all who came. Those who wished to vote contributed $5 to The Baby Project of New Bedford. $518 was raised for The Baby Project. 15th annual Christmas Day Swim341 viewsWith light breezes and near freezing temperatures, Christmas Day 2016 found a hail and hearty group diving into Mattapoisett Harbor from town beach to benefit Helping Hands and Hooves. The 15th annual Christmas Day Swim took place at 11:00 am with many participants saying it was a family tradition they cherish.
