Gibbons was a gifted composer, singer, and musician who played several instruments and was well known for his voice and stage presence. Old Rochester Debate Team206 viewsThe Old Rochester Debate Team has just completed their 2021-2022 debate season. The team was small, but mighty in their wins. Senior varsity partners Mackenzie Wilson and Eddie Gonet IV received first place as the Affirmative Team in the Massachusetts Speech and Debate League with an undefeated record of 9-0. Their negative counterparts, Samuel Harris and Maxwell Vivino, placed second in the league as a negative team with an outstanding record of 8-1.

Drama teacher Mark Howland wrote and directed “Human Geometry,” which focused on how mathematical concepts can be used to understand human relationships. Audiences can look forward to another fall production, “Bang Bang You’re Dead,” opening Thursday, November 12, at 7:30 pm at the Will Parker Black Box Theatre. Empty Bowls201 viewsOn Thursday November 18, 2021, the Tri-Town community came together to support student artists and their activism to help neighbors in need. The Old Rochester Regional High School Art department hosted its second "Empty Bowls" event. This Fall, students in both Ms. Butler’s and Ms. Mogilnicki’s art classes designed and created ceramic bowls. On the night of the event, patrons made a donation and chose a one-of-a-kind, work of art for their soup.
