Marine Becket Kiernan374 viewsOn Friday, February 16, Class of 2017 ORR graduate and 18-year-old Marine Becket Kiernan was laid to rest at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. All of Old Rochester lined the side of Route 6 for a final farewell to Becket as Principal Mike Devoll stood solemnly as the procession passed beneath the giant U.S. flag suspended by two local ladder trucks. Harvesting a variety of greens plus sixteen pounds of carrots and eight pounds of winter squash, students bundled up 71.3 pounds of vegetables for their weekly delivery to the Food Pantry at Grace Episcopal Church.
