Amy Hartley-Matteson of Mattapoisett and Katherine Hartley of Rochester (2:11:14) won the women’s division for the third consecutive time – the second time they’ve three-peated. Tri-Town Relay for Life303 viewsHundreds of residents attended the Tri-Town Relay for Life last weekend, raising nearly $40,000 for the American Cancer Society. Relay for Life303 viewsIt rained down hard the night of the 9th annual Relay for Life at Old Rochester Regional, soaking the ground, the tents, and the participants – but it didn’t stop anyone from coming out anyway to walk for a cure and honor those who have battled cancer. Nature Explorers303 viewsMattRec and the Marion Natural History Museum partnered for the second year to provide "Nature Explorers" summer program. The students explored several different locations around Mattapoisett this year. We visited Land Trust property off Mattapoisett Neck Road and Bob Field gave us a tour of his Oyster farming operation.
