Amy Hartley-Matteson of Mattapoisett and Katherine Hartley of Rochester (2:11:14) won the women’s division for the third consecutive time – the second time they’ve three-peated. The Sippican School and Old Hammondtown bands performed, while festivities also included parades, speeches, and ceremonies from the American Legion and VFW. Relay for Life309 viewsIt rained down hard the night of the 9th annual Relay for Life at Old Rochester Regional, soaking the ground, the tents, and the participants – but it didn’t stop anyone from coming out anyway to walk for a cure and honor those who have battled cancer.
