Buzzards Bay Coalition Bike Ride335 viewsOn Sunday, October 14, 147 riders pedaled across southeastern Massachusetts to participate in the 6th Annual Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride in order to raise money for the Buzzards Bay Coalition. There were two route options, one 75-mile and one 35-mile course that led riders all throughout the region, including the Tri-Town. The ride raised $68,000 for the organization's initiatives. Between 300 and 400 guests came to sample the chowder of 16 different teams, split into two categories: public safety and professional. Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride 335 viewsIt was a windy ride for the 120 participants of the 9th Annual Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride on October 4. From Westport to Falmouth, cyclists rode either the 75-mile or 35-mile route to raise funds for the Buzzards Bay Coalition, bringing in nearly $90,000.
