iPad Ready473 viewsSpring has sprung! After a wild March 2010 storm that left much of Massachusetts flooded, the region has been treated to unseasonably warm weather in early April. Easter weekend topped out in the 70s, about 20 degrees higher than usual, which meant lots of daffodils and fun in the sun. Photo by Anne O’Brien-Kakley.

Kids at the Block473 viewsIt was a little earlier than usual, but the annual Marion Block Party on August 28, 2010 went off without a hitch. Children enjoyed cotton candy, a bounce house and face-painting, while the grown-ups enjoyed conversation and good weather. It was an appropriate send-off to summer, before Old Rochester schools started back up on September 1. Photos by Felix Perez. September 2, 2010 edition

3D printed masks472 viewsSteve Methia's 3D printer produces a face shield on Wednesday afternoon. The Mattapoisett resident, a retiree, works primarily with motorcycles and furniture but has repurposed his hobby shop and office and with donations of equipment has two printers working morning to night to produce these shields for medical and front-line workers at no cost.
