ORR seniors Traeh Carrington, John Butler and Jake Newton were recognized. Police chiefs Jason King (Mattapoisett), Robert Small (Rochester) and Richard Nighelli (Marion) presented $200 each from their respective departments to ORR’s Unified sports program, and nearly $2,700 was raised in ticket, T-shirt and concession sales. A parade began at the Dexter Lane baseball complex and made its way to Gifford Park, where ORYB’s David Arancio recognized the many years of service from Derek Mello, Peter Vieira and David Nelson, who all threw ceremonial first pitches.
