Marion Pack 32 Cub Scouts Fundraiser368 viewsThe Marion Pack 32 Cub Scouts, with the sponsorship of the Marion Recreation Department, held a Tabor Skate fundraiser on Sunday, January 11 in the Travis Roy Rink at Johnson Arena at Tabor Academy. ORR was in competition against several area high schools including GNB and Fairhaven High School. In the races, the ORR girls took first place in the 50 HH, 50 D, 600M, 300M, and 1M. Plymouth Sands Trail Riders 366 viewsOn Sunday, October 28, the Plymouth Sands Trail Riders bike club held a hare scramble at the Mattapoisett landfill. The club, which boasts over 300 members from all around New England, had over 100 riders participate in the event. Riders from teens up to seniors took off for the 40 minute races around the 2.5 mile wooded track. Proceeds from the event will be part of an annual donation the club makes to fund cystic fibrosis research. Photo by Eric Tripoli

The Tabor team, which has almost 40 players, had a 1-2 record going into Saturday’s competition.
