Tabor Academy Athletes420 viewsEighteen Tabor Academy athletes from the Class of 2016 will be off to compete in NCAA Division I sports once they graduate from the School by the Sea. This is a record-breaking year, up from seven students last year. Celebrating their success, many of the student athletes took part in a ceremony to officially sign their letters of intent with proud friends and families on hand to cheer them on.

Triathlon420 viewsThe Triathlon kicked off the first of the many Harbor Days events scheduled over the week and into the weekend. Hosted by the Mattapoisett Lions Club every year, the triathlon takes racers .25 miles from the shore of Town Beach and back, 10 miles bicycling through Mattapoisett, and 5K through the village around Ned’s Point Lighthouse. Championship Tournament418 viewsThree Tri-Town skaters, (left to right) Carson Spencer, Brendan Burke, and Sam Newton, were part of the Cape Cod Canal Sharks hockey team that participated in the State Championship Tournament in Framingham this past weekend. Over 70 Peewee Tier IV teams from across the state competed for entry into the tournament, but only 12 teams made it to this final tourney.
