The six goslings and their parents can be seen foraging in the grass for food or swimming in the small pond near the Vaughan Hill Road intersection. But beware! Participants were able to get up close and personal with two very different looking Eastern box turtles, a spotted turtle, and a very long black rat snake. We also discussed timber rattlesnakes and how to properly pick up a turtle to help it get across the road safely.
