Knit OR Crochet Club286 viewsIn May of 2018 during a Bulldog Block in Señora Carreira's Spanish classroom, Lily Govoni, Class of 2019 at Old Rochester Regional High School, expressed her desire to create a knitting club to teach other students how to knit. Lily is a very kind and talented student, and Señora Carreira did not hesitate to say, "Let's do it!" The idea was to have a group of students share patterns and spend time in a calming activity to help reduce the stress that many students experience in high school.Apr 10, 2019

Turtle_6509.jpg
Turtle Power456 viewsHello, there. I’m a handsome, male painted turtle from Rochester currently making my habitat at Doggett’s Brook. I enjoy sunning myself on rocks and logs and swimming in the slow-moving water, and eating insects, fish, and plants. I don’t have any teeth, but I have cool stripes and razor-sharp claws. I’m looking for a female who loves basking in the warm sun, mating, and wants lots of kids. April 4, 2019 editionApr 03, 2019
