Paca Run50 viewsSeptember 25 found animal lovers of all ages visiting alpaca farms throughout the region in a game called “Paca Run.” Mattapoisett’s Pine Meadows Farm participated in the event, which included five farms where folks could pick up playing cards. At the end of the two-day event coinciding with National Alpaca Farm Days, the best “Hand” won prizes. This year, on September 15, they went to "Sharing the Harvest Community Farm" at the YMCA of Dartmouth. The team worked hard in planting and preparing the fields for the next set of crops.
