MLT volunteers provided safety instructions, a major focus of the program. Kayak introductory instruction has been provided by the two organizations for six years. Courageous 815 viewsOn August 6, Jeep owners and supporters of the local Relay for Life team, the Courageous 8 founded by survivor Laurie Nunes, gathered for the annual Jeeps and Peeps Rally at Ned's Point. Manning the information table were long-time team members Nancy Souza and Wendy Medeiros. The rally brought together Jeep owners and relay supporters from Rhode Island, Texas and North Carolina.
