The elementary age cheerleaders took part in a clinic, offered by the ORR cheerleaders in August where they learned some cheers, jumps and a half time routine. House Boat563 viewsOn September 22, a construction crew continues to work on dislodging a house on Wilber’s Point in Fairhaven. The house will be loaded onto a barge and floated over Buzzard’s Bay to its new location on Brant Beach Ave. in Mattapoisett. Alex is a five-year-old Marion boy who suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Money raised by the poker run will benefit Alex, and Families of SMA, a group that helps families like the Pateakos’ live their lives as close to normal as possible.
