The house will be loaded onto a barge and floated over Buzzard’s Bay to its new location on Brant Beach Ave. in Mattapoisett. Alex is a five-year-old Marion boy who suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Money raised by the poker run will benefit Alex, and Families of SMA, a group that helps families like the Pateakos’ live their lives as close to normal as possible.
