Bugs, bugs, bugs284 viewsDo you know the difference between a bug and an insect? Are you well-versed in the parts of an insect – the head, thorax and abdomen? Hurricane of 1938481 viewsMattapoisett resident Tim Smith purchased a collection of original Hurricane of 1938 photographs from an auction recently. The photographs show the devastation of the legendary hurricane in the area of Mattapoisett’s Silver Shell Beach and Angelica Point. Mr. Smith does not believe that the pictures have ever been published, and gave The Wanderer the first chance at publishing the photos. He intends on donating the collection to the Mattapoisett Historical Museum. Photos courtesy of Tim Smith.Apr 28, 2010
