On the Beach30 viewsHeather MacGregor took this cute photo of her dog Skunk on a walk on February 2 down at the town wharf. Skunk loves to go down there and look for shells the seagulls have dropped and to look for fish. Even the windy conditions didn't stop him.Feb 08, 2023

Spruce Tree16 viewsAmidst wet snow that tailed off into a cold Tuesday morning, the large spruce tree situated between the Elizabeth Taber Library and Sippican Elementary School was taken down after it was found to be a safety hazard. The tree is believed to have sustained a recent lightning strike, and large sections of the tree showed major rot. Some of the wood will be used to add to the memorial to four Sippican students honored at the site since 2009, and the bottom 3 feet of the trunk was preserved. Feb 01, 2023
