Sippican Elementary School134 viewsSippican Elementary School students have been planting seeds under the guidance of Nate Sander of the Marion Institute. As of May 4, there is a long way to go to harvest, but the program meant to educate children and help instill nutritional awareness and farming skills includes crops such as radishes capable of the full cycle to harvest before the last day of school. In the meantime, this heavily trampled area near the bus drop-off will need tender, loving care. Photo by Mick Colageo - May 16, 2024 editionMay 15, 2024
