Rochester Fire81 viewsOccupants and their animals escaped an October 28 fire that destroyed their house on North Avenue in Rochester. One occupant of the residence was transported to a local hospital to be evaluated for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Rochester Fire Department, which arrived eight minutes after the 12:39 pm call to address heavy fire and smoke in the attached garage, according to the department's report on its Facebook page.
