Bird Island has had an extensive amount of work done to promote successful nesting habitat for these species, and it looks like it has paid off. The students had a blast, carefully walking around birds’ eggs and nests on their way to the Bird Island Lighthouse for a quick tour to the top to learn a May 24, 2023

The first-floor gallery perfectly fits the mostly petite still-life paintings done by Anne and in this exhibit. Her careful eye for color and form in these works demonstrate Anne's skill for giving you all the needed details while not overloading the view. The glass half full of water with a single stem advancing towards the lip is simple but full of expression, telling its own sMay 18, 2023
