Marion Art Center200 views“Curiosity” by painter Jane Egan is a petite framed oil on canvas. It is joy in the form of a playful cow close-up. The technique of layering oils to create a realistic tactile surface gives the curious bovine a more realistic appearance. This engaging piece and many more are featured in the Marion Art Center’s 2022 Winter Members Show on exhibit through February 11. Photo by Marilou NewellJan 19, 2022

Caroling293 viewsOn December 17, members of St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church in Marion went caroling. After warming up with hot cider and cookies, we walked along Joanne Drive, stopping to sing Christmas carols for many of the residents. We were greeted with smiles when people opened their front doors to hear us sing. Photos courtesy of Tanya AmbrosiDec 22, 2021
