Tool Donation56 viewsTim Moll of Mattapoisett set up a tool and equipment trailer at the Mattapoisett Harbormaster's Office on August 27 to collect donations for the Mattapoisett Boatyard. A friend of boatyard owner David Kaiser and a "fellow boatyard guy," Moll said people have been generous in the wake of the August 19 fire that destroyed the boatyard, including several widows who offered to donate the contents of their husbands’ sheds and garages. Seahorse Gives Back28 viewsEach year, Mattapoisett Recreation's Seahorse Explorer's program hosts a "Seahorse Gives Back" week at our camp. This year, Buzzards Bay Coalition was chosen to be the recipient of their fundraising efforts, presenting the coalition with a check for $390. This is an organization we are thrilled for our program to support, and we hope our campers remain stewards of the Buzzards Bay Coalition for years to come. Photo courtesy Greta FoxAug 31, 2022

On display was a jellyfish from gift ribbons, spice and herb shaker tops organized like a universe of the imagination, a bust of a female figure with braids created from plastic bags and tie-wraps, a deconstructed cookbook cut in strips and woven together in new text layouts and fabric swatches reorganized and reimagined as unintentional visual glories.Aug 31, 2022
